scal skips year when changing from Dec 2008

I have a strange issue: when I have the selected December 2008, and click on "next month", scal changes to january 2010.

When I switch one month back, I skips the year 2009 again and returns to Dec 2008.

Any idea how to fix that?!

Found the problem: I called
